I decided to

up grade my version 1.0 weather station to something a little more high speed.

 So after picking a nice hot day, I could not help but wonder what I was thinking when I got this idea.

 Just about there.  Just a little more.

 So after putting the 30 foot pole in the hole.   OK, maybe not quite 30 feet.  I mixed up some concrete in what was a nice new bucket.

With the hard part over

A bag of concrete later, I find a way to hold the pole in position while it sets up.

 The next day, after finding out where South is, the rest was easy.

 It even has a self emptying rain gage.  It has a solar panel but also needs batteries.

 So it has been up for several weeks now.  Maybe we can go over 6 inches of rain before the month is over.  After I was all done, I remember thinking, gee, I could always look on line for the weather.  But this is more fun.

 we invested .25 cents, but the juke box with its 45 RPM records did not work either.  So sad
