Its Cow Play Day

with the cow and dog fun over, its time to head home.

 Hey, no drinking and driving

Seems the lake in search for geese never gets old.
Who says the iPad is for grown ups?

More fun

He loves Daisy Duck.  Too bad there is only one page of her.
 Nap time
That's right mom, only wholesome play time for Logan,
Shhhh, we won't actually publish the hot fudge sunday pic.

On the way home

We took a stroll with Andy and Opie

A fun find with Wally's Service Station

I took some time to handle some of the town's business

I was going to buy a police car, but they were chevy's and not fords.  What's up with that?

We

ended up staying a little longer than expected

Someone took the keys

This was our lunch choice.  I had a fried pork chop sandwich. (when in Rome... )
We both signed up for some classes

Walking the town

Floyd, still cutting hair in his 80s for eight bucks
Texting the excitement inside the Blue Bird

Cool, a tee shirt store, just like at the beach.
 Time to drive home.

Nothing like a

Power breakfast in Danville, VA
Breakfast anytime, as long as it was between the store hours of 6AM and 2 PM that is.

Pretty good stuff, but time to get going.
If its worth doing, its worth a few photos as well.  Time for the pre flight inspection.
All done but a little fuel.

Time to go

One more photo, then its time to hit the air.

 clear for take off
 up up and away
I took a bunch of photos of the house.  You'll have to visit in person to see the one they picked.
Pesky wing.  Who put that there.

We just beat the rain

We got lucky with the weather

so many gages, so little time.  Speaking of time, where is the crumby clock?
Help me look for the airport
Back on the ground, best flight ever.  My life only flashed in front of my eyes a few times.  OK, just kidding, Lucas has learned well, and did a fine job.

After my blood started to flow again

I convinced Mom it was a fun thing to do.
Back at the ranch, its birthday time.

 Back porch
A high action evening.  Too bad the home team won most of the games.

The 4th

Start the day with a little play ground fun

Its almost time for the parade to start.
Hey, this is bogus, no fire trucks?
The best part was finding the bat cave for the ambulance.

The Flag says it all

 Notice something in each photo?
A little pool fun.

Spin dry after the pool fun

You need more water here Nana.

The stool was hand made, thanks to a deer, by his great, great Grandfather.
Oh yea, he had that small truck in his hand for hours.  At least for that day, the best few bucks ever spent in Tractor Supply.

Of course, you can tell he just said....

Truck Please.  These are the first two words he put together that we have heard.

Finding ourselves

(old stock photo)

Logan-less for the day, we headed out on a quest to another never been to before location

I can't say the traffic was heavy.  (Can you go any slower ???)
Finally, we arrived.  Just don't read the sign too closely.

Things of interest

The photo showed a home made fiddle made from a cigar box.

 old medicine bottles

 Magic, or just regular?
