A swinging good time.

I had to run back and forth, while someone slept.  Not as easy as it looks.

Sky Meadows

I decided to take a hike up the mountain to burn off some Christmas sweets.  I thought the snow would be gone by now.

It turns out, they removed all the snow except for the paths.  Remind me again why I chose the path going up.
Oh, that's right, so I could take this photo.  Its about 75 minutes up and 45 down.  Not fair.  I am going South.
Critter tracks.  I also saw a deer. He (or maybe she) jumped the path and was gone before I could get the camera out of my pocket.

Just a walk in the park

A slight slip on the slick path as my foot print indicates.

The birds are circling, just waiting for me to fall so they can have a free lunch.  Sorry birds.

Ice and water, my favorite drink

2nd Walk

I took a second walk two days later, thinking all the snow would be gone.  Wrong !  Going down the mountain was shall we say interesting.  Very icy.  I was happy with myself that I did not slip and fall.  The snow did melt where the trees were not.

First Dunkin Donut ever

Is this just healthy food item in a trick bag?  Nope, its the real thing.

Hey this is pretty good.  Even if it was made hours and hours ago.

How come they don't have a HOT sign in the window like some other cool places I've heard about?
(not sure why he was so sad, but he got over it quickly.)

Will this be voted best new food?

Logan likes ketchup on hot dogs, and sometimes, grapes.  Sometimes on his fingers.

It also make great finger paint.  But is this the best food group ever?  Maybe not.  But it is a fun food which makes other food seem to slide down easier.

Dinner conversation

So a horse walks into the bar.  The bartender says, why the long face?
OK, maybe not, so which was better, the ketchup or pumpkin pie with cool whip?

I think the pie.   (Disclaimer, this eating style was learned by watching Logan's dogs, and not us.)
Ymmm   good to the last drop, or lick.  We told him he did not have to eat it all, but he did anyway.

Christmas Eve service

Burning off some energy before the service starts with a car in each hand.
Listen up Mister, you have to sit and be quiet for the whole thing.  (All 4 pages worth)
Much to my surprise, he did not move.
Just kidding.  He was quiet, mostly, but did not stay in his seat, or even the room for the entire service.
He did make it back in time to get a glow stick however.
So what's up with the glow stick in church you ask?

That Jesus is the light of the world.
He also found a new use for the little glass holders in the back of the pews.

He took his light home and only tried to eat it several times.

I can't honestly say

we helped make supper
but we did help eat it

Let's eat

Christmas Eve supper.  While some had roast beef, others had mac and cheese.

and there is always room for jello.

Deck the halls on Christmas Day

The gift tag tells me everything I need to know.  I love it.  :)

I can't even tell you how old this Santa is, but he is way old.  He is so old, that he can be fixed if he breaks.

Open fire or White Christmas

We do not have any chestnuts, but I guess that's OK as this is not an open fire.

Technically, we now have a white Christmas.

The table is set

Everyone gets special treatment, but I have a feeling that Gold Cup will end up eating most of the candy canes.

All we need now is food and people.
