There was no loan gun man theory here. John W had lots of help.
Mrs. Surratt brought supplies from DC to here for Booth. She was later hung for her efforts.
There were two guns brought. One for John and one for the guy with him, David Herold. Booth needed one hand to ride a horse and one hand for whisky for the leg pain, so his gun stayed here.
They hid the gun in the wall, but later gave it to the police so they would not be hung.
