Hey, maybe its not the cable box after all

While playing with the cable box, the RG-6 connector came off in my hand.

I may not know much, but I know enough to know that is bad.

In the words of my new hero, Can I fix it?

I guess we'll see.  However, any job doing, is worth blogging.

Its time to visit the trusty Home Depot and buy some stuff.  $14 bucks later, and I'm back home.

Bye Bye old connector.

Its always good to have a Plan B

With a new coax termination, and all wires pluged back in, its now the moment of truth.

Can I do it?  Yes I can.  (The hammer was the plan B)

The down side is I can now forget about that new 70 inch LED set.

One snowy day this week

With rain in the forcast, we got about 2 inches of snow.

 it was easy to make a snowman.  But someone later knocked him over.  Bye Bye frosty.

with work to be done, there was no time to waste.  That turned out to be true, as the snow was all gone by mid afternoon the very next day.

Some work

does not have holidays, and on this construction site New Year's Eve day is just another day of work, or is that a day of fun.

 We are taking advantage of the warmish weather to continue move mulch around.

 We sometimes use the blade of the loader

 but often the Logan hand crane is used.  Usually with sound effects.

Almost

time to quit for the day

 Just in time for Mom to read a book.  Is that a Blue's Clue paw print on her shirt?  Maybe the clue is that its almost time for her to go to work :(
